Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy explains the conditions under which returns and refunds may be accepted for purchases made from American Spirit.


Return Eligibility

Return requests may be submitted within 30 days of delivery and are subject to review and approval.

To be eligible for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • In original condition
  • Returned with original tags and packaging

Items showing signs of wear, damage, alteration, or misuse may not be approved for return or refund.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless they arrive defective or incorrect:

  • Sale or clearance items
  • Items marked as final sale
  • Gift cards

Return Authorization

Customers must contact American Spirit within 30 days of delivery to request return authorization. Please include the order number and the item(s) being returned.

Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is approved due to an error on our part, such as a defective or incorrect item.

American Spirit is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. Customers are encouraged to use a trackable shipping method when returning items.


Refund Processing

Once an approved return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after inspection
  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return results from our error.


Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability and are not guaranteed. Customers must contact American Spirit prior to returning an item for exchange consideration.

All exchange requests follow the same eligibility and approval process as standard returns.


Defective or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives defective or incorrect, customers must notify American Spirit within 7 days of delivery. Each case is reviewed individually, and an appropriate resolution will be arranged when applicable.
